For those who may not have seen it yet, here is Mr. Gounsolin’s retirement letter. Regardless of your feelings for him, he undeniably ushered PHI into the 21st century as a modern operator and a leader in the industry. While we may have disagreed with some of his positions and actions as owner and CEO, I genuinely believe he cared about his employees and their families. That’s far more than you can say for most people in his position. I hope you’ll join me in wishing him the best of luck in his retirement. Thanks for everything Al.
